Introduction

Bachelor of Business Administration – Computer Application [BBA(CA)] is a 3-year professional full-time degree program affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University. It aims at providing Computer skills to undergraduate students and make them ready for the industry. The course imparts learning in various aspects particularly in the context of current IT trends.

Eligibility

((i)) A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Degree course in Bachelor of Business Administration shall have passed 12th Std. Examination (H.S.C. 10+2) from any stream with English as passing subject and secured 40% marks at 12th Standard.

((ii)) Two years Diploma in Pharmacy after H.S.C., Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.

((iii)) Three Year Diploma Course (after S.S.C., i.e. 10th Standard) from Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.

((iv)) Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Vocational (MCVC) Minimum Competency Based Vocational Course Examination with 45% marks for candidates in Open Category and 40% for Reserved Category candidates as per Maharashtra State Govt. Rules.

Admission Procedure

The entire admission process in online. A student has to fill the Merit Form available on the college website and upload the necessary documents as required. After the due date, a Merit List will be uploaded on the basis of merit and Government's reservation policy. Selected students can fill the admission form and pay fees through the online link. Admission will be confirmed only after payment of Fees.

  • Original mark sheet (12th Std Mark Sheet or equivalent for Bachelor Courses / graduation- for PG courses)
  • Three Passport size photos
Registration and Admission fees

Admission for degree and diploma courses will be confirmed only after receipt of admission form duly filled in all respects along with original documents and after payment of registration fees of 150/- and complete fees.
NOTE: Registration fee is non-refundable.

Is the BBA (CA) Program a full-time program?

Yes, BBA (CA) is a 3-year full-time program.

Can I work alongside my study?

Since the BBA(CA) program is a fulltime program, students are expected to attend college every day. Students may if they wish, join a part time job without missing on the academics and co-curricular activities of the college.

Is a student allowed Internship during the program?

Absolutely. College has a dedicated Training and Placement Office, which provides Internship for registered interested students.

Is the Admission assured after filling up Admission Form?

After the submission of Admission Forms, Merit lists are prepared. Admission for all BBA courses is based on Merit only.

What are the Fees of the BBA (CA) Program?

The fees of the BBA (CA) Program are as per SPPU guidelines. For further queries and clarifications, contact administration office.

Are ADD ON courses compulsory?

Yes. Add On courses for Skill Enhancements carry 2 credits and completion of Add-On Courses are compulsory during every semester. Failure to attend Add On course sessions and examinations will result in a backlog.

Is it necessary to Submit assignments and Tutorials?

Absolutely. Each Assignment, presentation, Viva and Tutorials carry marks. Separate passing in Tutorials is essential.

Is Passing in every Head compulsory?

Yes. Under the Choice Based Credit System (2019 Pattern), passing separately in each Head is compulsory. Heads imply Internal Examination, Tutorials, External Examination, Viva Voce and Practical where ever applicable. A student will have a backlog if he/ she is unable to secure 40% in each head separately.

Can I change the stream once I have secured admission in College?

No. Changes in stream are not allowed post your admission in College.
