Ness Wadia College of Commerce, Pune has been nominated by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, as one of the few institutions in India to initiate the BBA in Retail Operations. The BBA in Retail Operations runs in collaboration and support with Retail Association’s Skill Council of India – RASCI (Skill India, National Skill Development Corporation, Ministry of HRD, Government of India), McDonald, a training/industry partner, and Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune (SPPU). The BBA Program in Retail Operations shall be for three years consisting of six semesters and is a careful mix of skills relating to general education (theory component) and professional education (skill component) on a credit-based system. It offers a direct gateway to an industry with mandatory practical exposure in the retail store. Students selected for the program will get a stipend from industry partners right from the beginning of the program. This apprenticeship embedded program has been designed in such a way that students not only get theoretical knowledge but practical knowledge also. Students learn theoretical knowledge in the college for three days a week and practical knowledge (On the Job Training-OJT) at the industry partner’s workplace for three days a week. The successful students will be awarded the Degree in both Skills and General education components of the Curriculum by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.
Job prospects in the retail sector include and not limited to Customer Sales Associate, Team Leader, Departmental Manager, Floor Manager, Store Manager, Retail Operations Manager, Retail Buyers and Merchandisers, Visual Merchandisers, Logistic Managers, Warehouse Managers and many more.

Students are requested to update themselves of the merit list on the College website and seek admission by payment of fees (online). The admission is confirmed only after the fees are paid in full.
Admission for degree and diploma courses will be confirmed only after receipt of admission form duly filled in all respects along with original documents and after payment of registration fees of 150/- and complete fees.
NOTE: Registration fee is non-refundable.
The program fee is ₹ 20449/- (Twenty thousand four hundred forty-nine rupees only) for Students from Maharashtra, and ₹ 37649/- (Thirty-seven thousand six hundred forty-nine rupees only) for Students from out of Maharashtra.
Step I. Filling online application (on college website- www.nesswadiacollege.com) Step II. Online aptitude test (This will be conducted in the college after the end date of online application), Step III. On the Job Evaluation (OJE). Candidate qualified in the above steps will go for OJE at McDonald's Store. Tasks will be assigned to the candidate and they will be evaluated based on their performance. Step IV. Personal Interview Step V. Admission: Candidate who completes the above steps will go for admission
