The English Association and Debating Union of our college have collaboratively initiated a monthly discussion program named Wadian Katta on the august occasion of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of our college. The venue for the discussion would be the Kattas before the main gate of the Ness Wadia College of Commerce or it could be a hall as per the size of the audience and the nature of the discussion program.

As the name suggests, the discussion is open for everybody belonging to the Wadia College Campus. In Marathi tradition, Katta refers to the platform built around a tree where people meet and through their casual discussions there is a spontaneous exchange of ideas. So Wadian Katta provides the Wadians with an opportunity of meeting in an open space and having informal discussions on various topics of general interest and concern. These meetings not only provide opportunities for a healthy exchange of ideas,but various suggestions and resolutions also make it more appealing. In the long run, it would also boost the spirit of camaraderie on the Wadia College Campus.
