A Guest lecture by Mr. P. V. Mandle , retired manager of Bank of Baroda was arranged on 28th September 2018 between 12.30p.m. and 2.00 p.m. He delivered a lecture on the topic “Internet Banking & Payment systems used by bankers.”It was an interactive session. The various terms used while payment of money electronically, from a party to another, were cxplained by the guest ". He tried to cover many aspects from the point of view of customers as well as bankers.
A Visit was scheduled for the students of Std XI on Friday , 12th October 2018 between 3.30p.m. and 5.00p.m. to the Bank of Maharashtra, Dhole Patil Road Branch, Pune 1. The topic for the visit was “the procedure of opening of an account” and “documents used by customers while performing transactions”. Branch Manager Mr. Satarkar and Bank officer Mr. Anil provided detailed information and explained the procedure for the various types of Accounts and Documents. Samples of documents e.g. Withdrawal Slip, Pay-in-slip, Account Opening Form, Xpress Credit for Defence Salary Package Account Holders were distributed amongst the students.
A Visit was scheduled for the students of Std XI and XII on Thursday, 4th Oct. 2018 between 4.30p.m. and 5.00p.m. to the State Bank of India, Dhole Patil Road Branch, Pune 1. The topic for the visit was “Personal Loans-Types of Personal Loans & Procedure of sanctioning a Personal Loan.” Bank officers from loan section Mrs. Priyanka Yadav and Rakesh provided detailed information and explained the procedure of types of loans by distributing documents like, SBI Pension Plan, Unsecured Personal Loans – Xpress Credit Scheme, Personal Loan Against Property (P-LAP), Xpress Credit for Defence Salary Package Account Holders. Branch Manager, Mr. Jalanekar assured future co-operation to the college students in case of any queries and collection of information.
The students of XII (Banking Department) went to the RBI Visit on Thursday, 29th November 2018. The RBI monetary museum is located in the Fort area, Mumbai. The museum which is protected by armed guards, is on the ground floor of Amar building on Sir Phirozeshah Mehta Road in Mumbai’s heritage district. A total of 41students went for this Visit, accompanied by 4 teachers. The exhibits are provided with informative text in English and Hindi. The first section has exhibits about the general concepts of money. It evolved from barter to coins and later to the modern day digital money. The second section is assigned to the monetary system of India. It houses an ample collection of coins from ancient, medieval and modern India. The earliest coins were made of silver that go back to sixth centuryB The third section informs visitors about different bank and other types of securities. Employment of such securities in India is regulated by the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. The fourth section is dedicated to the history of paper money. Visitors can see all specimens of paper money belonging to the British era and post-colonial India . The fifth section is an illustration of modern money and securities and provides information on the financial system in India today. The sixth and final section focuses on the Reserve Bank of India, its history and activities. There is a brief report on modern Indian banks from 1720 to 1854.

The Power Point Presentation and the lecture were presented by Ms. Vidya. The personnel of the Financial Inclusion and Development Department of RBI communicated with the students and provided information regarding the workings of the department.
