Each year, the country acknowledges and celebrates 22nd December, the Birth Anniversary of the Indian mathematical genius Prof. S. Ramanujan, as his contribution to mathematics. The Department of Mathematics, Junior College, held the National Mathematics day on 22nd December 2019. In the Golden Jubilee Year 2018-19, the department arranged the Maths Apptitude Test based on CA foundation. A competition of PPT- Presentation on “Applications of Mathematics & Statistics” was held too. The prizes were given away on the same day. Department Of Mathematics also participated in the Golden Jubilee Year - Junior College Fest by organizing the following events:
