Ness Wadia College of commerce plays a pivotal role in the field of education. The college has introduced various activities for the students to enhance their knowledge. Principal Prof. Dr. Vrishali Randhir wants to motivate the students by providing them with diverse opportunities throughout their educational journey. The Department of Business Practices introduced a student Corner for all the students. Through these entrepreneurship activities, students gain comprehensive knowledge to aspire towards excellence as entrepreneurs. This will enhance their skills and abilities for future challenges.
Students corner has been started on 15th August, 2003. Student’s corner programs can play an important role in preparing students for successful careers. The optimal programs combine career-oriented academic curriculum, relevant work experience, and student financial assistance. The academic curriculum and relevant work experience reflect the “learn” component; student financial assistance, the “earn” component."
Student Corner organized by students to Provide Various Services to students, & staff as well. This student Corner has been registered by the college, the Registration No is (Reg. No. PNA/PNA (2) CON / 684/2004)
Under this students get an opportunity to work and explore entrepreneurship skill. There are 3 shifts in each shift gives 2 students working, accordingly & handle work of student corner. Following services are provided by the store.
● Stationery.
● Xerox / Printing
● Snacks / Cold drinks.
According to demand of the students referred Product are kept, this increases daily earning of student corner. Daily sales reaches up to 5000 +/-. This money is deposited into the bank after 2 days.
The shareholders of this student corner are from College campus. Share of Rs. 100/- each is to be collected from the students who wish to become shareholder shareholding is per 3 years and after that it is returned to shareholder. Though student corner they get Valuable knowledge regarding entrepreneurship skills."
